Shawn Phillips

Shawn Phillips is a fictional character on General Hospital.

Storylines[]

Shawn Phillips was first seen on June 25, 2018 disguised as Anna’s limo driver. He had a gun hidden on the passenger seat. She was heading to the airport to fly to Berkeley and see her daughter Robin but never got there.

On July 31, Robert wanted to talk to Finn because Anna has disappeared for the last month. Finn said he hasn’t talked to Anna since she left but he has received text messages. Robert told Finn the messages were from the men who took Anna. Robert looked at the messages and noticed that they were all short.

Robert said that Finn was lucky he stopped by Robert’s hotel room before Finn headed to Berkeley. He could have been kidnapped too since Anna’s abductors clearly wanted Finn. Finn reminded Robert that the message said to get to Berkeley as soon as possible but Robert wanted to make arrangements first.

Later Robert visited Finn at the hospital and told him that he replied to the message. Someone would pick up Finn at the airport. Robert would have a tracker chip implanted in his hand in case Finn is abducted.

Finn sends “Anna” a message that he is on his way as he gets on the elevator. Phillips eyes Finn behind the elevator wall and gets in the elevator with Finn and others.

On August 3, Phillips and his boss, Michael Carson, led Anna and Finn, with bags over their heads, into a room. The door was locked and they were inside of a lab. Phillips and Carson returned with a file and said their patient was being transferred from another facility so that Finn could help her out of her coma. Finn was then handed the file for Cassandra Pierce.

Once Finn brought Cassandra out of her coma, Finn and Anna then told her that they woke her up so she could help them figure out who their captors are. They also told her that she contracted a rare infectious disease and then they said that if she helped them then Finn would treat her but if she didn't then they would put her back in a coma.

She eventually agreed to help them and pretended to be in a coma while Finn and Anna tricked Carson and Phillips into drinking spiked "drugs" as part of their plan to escape. Harrison Chase, Zoe Raleigh, and Robert Scorpio found Finn and Anna and they all escaped as Cassandra was kidnapped by a mysterious man wearing a Cassadine man ring (later revealed as Nikolas Cassadine). Chase later said that Shawn Phillips and Michael Carson were arrested and taken into custody by the New York State Police and District Attorney Margaux Dawson was unable to prosecute them because they're out of her jurisdiction.
