Roz Venta is a fictional character on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.
She was portrayed by Nawal Bengholam on October 14, 2019 replacing Elizabeth Hendrickson as Margaux Dawson after the character left town before being replaced by Jeff Kober as Cyrus Renault. She returned on October 20-21, 2022 later replacing Sonya Eddy as Epiphany Johnson a day later after the character's final appearance before her death, Matthew Bohrer as Henry Sullivan before being replaced by an unknown actor as Harry Walsh, Mike Peebler as Mark Whitten, and Rafael Cabrera as Roz's male counterpart Gavin Crawford a month later before the character's death after replacing Kelly Thiebaud as Britt Westbourne after the character's death, an unknown actor as The Hook, and later Tabyana Ali as Trina Robinson.
Storylines[]
Peter August met with Roz in an alley. He asked if they were set and she asked for her payment. He gave her some money in an envelope and she said she knew what she was supposed to do before leaving while Peter's female counterpart Nelle Benson is in prison after Margaux Dawson resigned as district attorney and left Port Charles for Seattle.
Later at the PCPD interrogation room, Peter and Nelle's henchman Bryce Henderson wasn't talking. Jordan and Chase were there with FBI agent Edward Caldwell and were trying to get Bryce to accuse Sam of killing Shiloh but they were arguing about who had jurisdiction since Shiloh bore a striking resemblance to the late Nathan West.
Roz came in and announced that Bryce was now her client and he was done talking. She introduced herself to everyone and said she needed to confer with her client in private.
Roz told Bryce to say only what Peter and Nelle had instructed him to say. She also made sure they had their story straight. She requested a plea deal after Jordan, Chase, and Caldwell came back.
Bryce explained how Sam contacted him a few weeks ago for a job. As a PI she would know the back channels and he claimed she had a score to settle. She didn't want Shiloh to get back to his cell. After Bryce heard about Shiloh's death, he figured out it must have been Sam. Roz was later replaced by Cyrus Renault who had been transferred to Pentonville from the Pacific Northwest in 2020 since Cyrus bore an uncanny resemblance to the late Cesar Faison.
Nearly three years later on October 20; Roz returned and is representing Victor Cassadine and Esme Prince, when Lucy Coe is shot on Pier 55 and goes missing after the deaths of Nelle Benson and Peter August respectively as well as the armed robbery at Charlie's Pub by Eric Watson and Harry DeFranco and the attacks from the unnamed serial killer who goes by The Hook whose face and identity are concealed and is a woman months after the death of Jason Morgan via tunnel collapse on Cassadine Island and replaced by Johann Bauer in the beginning of 2022 since their names start with the letter J and ends with the letter N.
Nearly a month later, Roz is since replaced by Victor's henchman and Roz's male counterpart Gavin Crawford.
On March 13, 2023; Victor calls Roz to find out exactly what Elizabeth Baldwin said when she made a statement to the Port Charles Police Department and brought up his name nearly two months after the death of Roz's clients her male counterpart Gavin Crawford, Renee Laveque, as Esme was sent to Spring Ridge Prison while keeping Ace Prince-Cassadine for 18 months since Esme is Ace's mother and Victor is Ace's great-great uncle after Esme's biological mother Heather Webber aka The Hook's capture and before the death of Epiphany Johnson 15 days later and her memorial service a day later.
On April, Roz will be informed that she will be representing Victor in court if he's captured by law enforcement officials and the Corinthos mob family after the hostages are rescued and Victor's men and women are down. She also assumed the name Trina Robinson while the real Trina is being held hostage at the Haunted Star under Victor's orders.
On May 8, Roz was informed that her client Victor is dead.
On May 30-31, Roz does not attend Victor's will reading as it was revealed that she is minding her own business as an attorney along with Victor's ex-step great-great niece Avery Jerome-Corinthos who is either with her father Sonny Corinthos or the nanny which left Avery unharmed.
On January 31, 2024; Roz's friend and client was later presumed deceased when she and Spencer Cassadine were dragged into the Seine River in Paris, France.Crimes Committed[]
