Robin Scorpio-Drake

Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake, MD is a fictional character from the ABC soap opera General Hospital and a main protagonist in both seasons of its prime time SOAPnet spin-off General Hospital: Night Shift. She is the daughter of Agent Robert Scorpio and his ex-wife Special Agent Anna Devane, and the sister of detective James Scorpio.

She has been portrayed by actress Kimberly McCullough, on and off, since September 6, 1985. The character came to mainstream attention when she was diagnosed as HIV-positive in the 1990s.

She was last seen on May 21, 2021 before being since replaced by Maura West as Ava Jerome and James Patrick Stuart as Valentin Cassadine before the character disappeared on July 17, 2024 and later replaced by Carlo Rota as Jenz Sidwell who is Valentin's bald warlord counterpart before the character ran off and fled nearly two months later on November 8.

Storylines[]

In March 2017, she and Sonny were granted immunity to testify in court against Olivia Jerome. At the trial, Liv's defense attorney was Nora Buchanan. One week after Olivia Jerome was sent to a mental asylum, then came the armed robbery at the Floating Rib by brothers Chris and Paul Gentry who are wanting revenge for Olivia Jerome because Robin would not like them if she ever met them as they would remind her of Olivia.

On May 21, 2021; Robin Sean Donely's memorial in Ireland after the deaths of Drew Cain, Hank Archer aka Shiloh, Cassandra Pierce, and Peter's female counterpart Nelle Benson who was Olivia Jerome's former sister-in-law; Linc Brown harassing Brook Lynn Quartermaine, Valentin Cassadine's hostile takeover of ELQ to pull it away from General Hospital and using it benefit his daughter Charlotte and her future which left the door open Cyrus Renault from the Pacific Northwest who bores an uncanny resemblance to Faison becomes the Chairman of the Board at General Hospital, Dolores Maloney was no longer Sam's parole officer, Brad Cooper was sent back to prison replaced by Valentin himself; and Franco's death as Peter gained Cyrus Renault and Gladys Corbin as his allies in revenge for Faison, Shiloh, Cassandra, and Nelle after Hayden Barnes left Port Charles and was nowhere to be found since.

On February 23, 2023; Robin became happy that Ryan Chamberlain is dead and out of her life offscreen.

On March 29, Robin did not attend the memorial service of the late former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson. She remained in Berkeley minding her own business with her family and her job making Olivia Jerome live longer than Epiphany before her death nearly a year later despite being born in the same year.

On February 15, 2024; Robin became happy that Olivia Jerome is dead offscreen and out of her life offscreen.

On November 6, 2024; Anna reaches out to her daughter after the news about the expansion of her family. Robin tells her she's adjusting well and eager to get to know her new sister, Sasha Corbin.
