Madison Yeung is a fictional character on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital.
She has been portrayed by Virginia Ma from April 2-22, 2024 two months after Adam J. Harrington debuted as FBI agent John Cates previously Jagger Cates and also replacing Kathleen Gati as Liesl Obrecht and Dietrich Gray debuted as Adrian DeWitt a day later before being since replaced by Adam J. Harrington as John Cates (previously Jagger Cates) before the character's death, Charles Mesure as Jack Brennan, and Dietrich Gray as Adrian DeWitt.
She returned for one episode on July 15, 2024 before being replaced by Adam J. Harrington as John Cates once more before the character's death on August 30-September 3 as well as Judy Kain as Elaine Smith over a month later until her storyline ended and later Alexa Havins Bruening as Lulu Spencer when the character awoke from her coma before her return on December 10 replacing Adam J. Harrington as John Cates four month after the character's death, Alley Mills as Heather Webber when the character left town, Judy Kain as Elaine Smith after the character's storyline ended, Carlo Rota as Jenz Sidwell a month after the character ran off and fled, Nazneen Contractor as A.D.A. Mildred Turner and Eileen Fogarty as Judge Lois Chann after the trial ended, and Kelly Monaco as Sam McCall after the character's death.
Storylines[]
On April 2, 2024; Madison Yeung is Nina's news assistant Nina Reeves at Crimson Magazine as Madison is likely the perfect replacement for the hospitalized Lulu Spencer, Maxie Jones who is now at Deception Cosmetics, and the late Nelle Benson over a year after the death and memorial service of the late former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson as well as two months after FBI Special Agent John Cates previously Jagger Cates came back to Port Charles 16 years later after the presumed deaths of Spencer Cassadine and Esme Prince at Seine River in Paris as Madison also became friends with him and later Adrian DeWitt is hired as the associate publisher for The Invader by her boss Nina herself as Madison became a fan of The Invader herself. She tried to stop Drew Cain from interrupting Nina's business call in her office. Drew barged past Madison and right into Nina's office. Later Madison interrupted Drew and Nina with news on a wellness article.
On April 12; Ric Lansing, Keith and Sally Miller barged past Madison to tell Nina that Jason Morgan wanted to buy the Metro Court at three percent above the market value.
On April 15, Ava Jerome greets Madison and asks if Nina is in. Madison says Nina is with Guest Services and Ava says she will wait in Nina's office.
On April 19; after Drew left Nina's office, Madison entered. Nina asked her to be notified when Olivia arrived at the Metro Court as she had something important to share with Olivia.
On April 22, Nina calls Madison to her office regarding contacting her lawyer to see if she can dispute a contract that she signed under false circumstances. Suddenly Nina changed her mind and tells Madison that she shouldn't trust her friends to not have ulterior motives. Madison leaves when Ava comes in to see Nina. Madison was last seen before going offscreen.
On July 1, Madison's friend Adrian DeWitt becomes the new editor in chief at The Invader.
On July 15, Willow walked in on Madison and Nina in a discussion two weeks after her friend Adrian DeWitt became the new editor in chief at The Invader. Willow apologizes for interrupting but Nina says they were just wrapping up and sends Madison out. Later, Madison comes into Nina's office to announce that Drew is there and he walks in behind Madison. The next day, Madison tells Nina who is meeting with Drew, that Sonny Corinthos is outside. Madison lets him in and Nina tells her to hold her calls.
One week later on July 22, Madison's friend FBI Special Agent John Cates is blackmailing Jason into giving him evidence against Sonny to get justice for the late former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson and also former Judge Naomi Carson.
Two days later on July 24, Nina tells Willow that Madison is setting up her office for a photoshoot the same day that Madison's friend FBI Special Agent John Cates was being confronted by police commissioner Anna Devane.
On August 30-September 3, Madison's friend FBI Special Agent John Cates is shot and killed outside the Quartermaine Boathouse near the Quartermaine estate by Sonny Corinthos the same day that Linda Boyle hit Dr. Isaiah Gannon who had escaped from Cates' friend and warlord Jenz Sidwell in Somalia in Africa after making his way to Port Charles which resulted in Linda being charged with hit-and-run.
On December 10; over three months after the death of her friend FBI Special Agent John Cates, one month after warlord Jenz Sidwell ran off and fled, and the trial of Ava Jerome's trial ended with the judge being Lois Chann and the assistant district attorney Mildred Turner; Lulu barges into Nina's office. Madison comes in and tells Nina that Erica Kane is on the phone. Lulu hangs up the phone on Erica. Later Madison returns with a security guard named Nick to remove Lulu because Madison is the perfect replacement for Maxie and Lulu the same day that Lauren Jackson found Dex Heller was attacked.
On December 18, Nina tells Ava that Madison had Nina's apartment decorated for Wiley and Amelia at Christmas a day after Jenz Sidwell stalked and eavesdropped on Sasha praying at All Saints Chapel right where Sonny Corinthos and Tracy Quartermaine were at.
On January 14, 2025; Nina tells Madison on the phone to forward the circulating numbers to Curtis when Drew interrupts by knocking at the door a week after the bomb explosion at Sonny's penthouse at Harborview Towers where Michael Corinthos suffered burns.
