Lucas Lorenzo "Luke" Spencer was a fictional character on the popular ABC soap opera, General Hospital. He is the middle child of the late Tim Spencer and his late wife Lena Spencer.
He was portrayed by Anthony Geary from November 20, 1978 to July 27, 2015 when Geary decided to retire. Geary made a guest appearance on May 4, 2017 for the departure of longtime costar Jane Elliot (Tracy).
Luke often calls people who he is close to by their real names. He calls his niece, Carly, Caroline just like Mary Pat Ingles did before her death by the late Ryan Chamberlain in 2018; his sister, Bobbie, Barbara Jean; his daughter, Lulu, Lesley Lu; and his good friend, Alexis, Natasha.
