Linc Brown is a fictional character on the ABC soap opera General Hospital.

He was portrayed by actor Dan Buran from January 13 to March 4, 2020 and returned on May 21 after Andi Chapman debuted as Dolores Maloney in the beginning of the year replacing Billy Miller as Drew Cain, Coby Ryan McLaughlin as Hank Archer, and Dominic Zamprogna as Dante Falconeri before and after Jeff Kober debuted as Cyrus Renault on February before being replaced by Andi Chapman, Jeff Kober, and later Vic Stagliano as Franco Walker. He was next seen on November 10-12, 2021 replacing Vic Stagliano as Frank Walker nearly a year after the character's death. He returned on May 17, 2022 to April 6, 2023 replacing Steve Burton as Jason Morgan, Scott Hamm and an unknown actor as armed robbers Eric Watson and Harry DeFranco before and after Sonya Eddy's death resulting in the death of the late Sonya Eddy's character Epiphany Johnson in late March and later since replaced by Jeff Kober as Cyrus Renault, Cameron Mathison as Drew Quartermaine, and later Steve Burton as Jason Morgan.

Storylines[]

On January 13, 2020; Brook Lynn announces to her family that she has changed her last name to Quartermaine so she can sing at The Floating Rib months after the death of Cassandra Pierce by boat explosion, Drew Cain's presumed death, and Dante Falconeri's PTSD resulting in Sam McCall's parole officer Dolores Maloney and music producer Linc Brown replacing Dante. Lulu Spencer tries to stop Linc and Dustin Phillips grabs Linc and pins him against the wall. Linc fights with Dustin and elbows him in the face. Lulu and Brook Lynn hit Linc to stop the fight. Brook Lynn accidentally hits Detective Harrison Chase with a beer bottle and all four of them are arrested because Dante was unavailable because of his PTSD before Hank Archer aka Shiloh's memorial a day later.

On February 7, 2020 two days after Cyrus Renault is revealed to have been transferred to Pentonville Penitentiary; Linc meets with Brook Lynn and Ned. Linc denies sexually harassing Brook Lynn. Ned gives a check to Linc and says this is a one-time offer. It is later revealed that Linc is working with Martin Grey.

On November 10, 2021; Linc returns to Port Charles nearly a year and a half later after Cyrus Renault's imprisonment to Flatland Federal Prison in the Midwest for his crimes against the citizens of Port Charles as he's arrived at The Savoy while Drew Cain and Jason Morgan are held captive on Cassadine Island after Drew was revealed to be alive, and a week after Cyrus was visited by Sonny Corinthos in Flatland Federal Prison. Linc offers to let his band perform tonight at the club when two other bands suddenly cancel. Outside Linc is shown to be working with "Marshall" who is behind the other bands canceling. Later that night, Brook Lynn sees Linc at the club and Chase tells Linc to stay away from her. Curtis sees this and after the concert, he questions Linc and shows him the sketch Liz drew of "Marshall". Linc says that is the person he is working for and then "Marshall" comes in and tells Linc to leave.

On November 15, it was revealed that the man's name is Marshall Ashford.

On May 16, 2022; someone is shown to be stalking Brook Lynn and Chase. The next day it is revealed to be Linc six months after the death of Jason Morgan via tunnel collapse caused by a shootout with Peter August, nearly five months after Laura Collins visited Cyrus Renault in Flatland Federal Prison, and one month after the armed robbery at Charlie's Pub by Eric Watson and Harry DeFranco who were in revenge for the late Peter August nearly two months after Peter's death. He claims that the song Chase just sang was one of Brook Lynn's old songs and he owns it. He says Brook Lynn should have read the fine print on the contract she signed to get rid of him. Linc offers for Brook Lynn to go to his room with him and she punches him in the face. Chase makes Linc leave.

It was revealed that Linc became the new owner of Jason's motorcycle as he now calls it Linc's motorcycle after Valentin acquired Jason's ELQ shares and motorcycle after Jason's death where Valentin sold it to Linc because Valentin never rode a motorcycle.

Linc denies any involvement of being the Hook killer while being a music producer and has an alibi for the Hook attacks which confirmed it and was eliminated as a suspect in the Hook attacks.

On April 3 after The Hook has been captured identified as Heather Webber who was avenging her daughter Esme Prince and the death of Epiphany Johnson via heart complications; Linc attends the Nurses' Ball which is also his first nearly three years after his former boss Cyrus Renault's first and only time at the Nurses' Ball in 2020 before his imprisonment a year later.

On April 7, Linc was arrested by Dante Falconeri as Brook Lynn and Blaze accuse him onstage of sexual harassment at the Nurses' Ball as well as four counts of identity theft and two counts of complicity while under the aliases Jason Morgan and Nikolas Cassadine before the death of Victor Cassadine via drone strike to the Haunted Star by the WSB a month later.

Two months later on June 29; he is replaced by Cyrus Renault who is wanting to meet Drew Cain before being replaced by a single gunman at the Metro Court Hotel Pool wanting revenge for The Hook, Victor, and Linc working for an unknown person later revealed to be Stone concealing his face, identity, and physical appearance just like The Hook killer before she was revealed to be Heather Webber.

On March 4, 2024; Linc is later replaced by Jason Morgan who is revealed to be alive who is not yet ready to reclaim his motorcycle from Linc over a month after the presumed deaths of Spencer Cassadine and Esme Prince at Seine River in Paris because Jason was blackmailed by FBI Special Agent John Cates (previously Jagger Cates) before Cates' death on August 30-September 3.

On August 20, Linc's friend Cyrus returned back on screen.
