Mayor Laura Collins is a fictional character on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. She is the biological daughter of the late Gordon Grey and his old flame Lesley Webber, and the adoptive daughter of the late Rick Webber. Laura is also the paternal half-sister of attorney Martin Grey and drug kingpin Cyrus Renault.
Laura was portrayed by Stacey Baldwin from 1974 to 1976; and since then has been played by actress Genie Francis, first from 1977 to 1982, and then from 1993 to 2002, and most recently since 2015 (with brief appearances in 1983, 1984, 2006, 2008, and 2013).

In 2019, she appoints Joseph Campbell as Acting District Attorney of Port Charles after Margaux Dawson resigned as District Attorney after the Ryan Chamberlain was sent to prison as case was closed.
