Jenz Sidwell

Jenz Sidwell is a fictional character and antagonist in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.

On August 26, 2024; it was revealed Carlo Rota would be on GH that week in a top-secret role. He has portrayed Jenz Sidwell from August 30 to November 8, 2024 and later replaced Adam J. Harrington as John Cates after the character's death the same day to September 3 and later replaced Amor Owens as Linda Boyle a day after the character's arrest the next day on September 4 as well as James Patrick Stuart as Valentin Cassadine and Scarlett Fernandez as Charlotte Cassadine when the characters left town and disappeared one month earlier on July 17.

An official ABC preview states his first name is "Ulrich." It is unknown if this is an error or an alias. Another preview stated "Ulrich" will be onscreen September 25 - it is still unknown if the name is a new character, Sidwell's alias, or an error.

He was last seen on September 27, 2024 before being since replaced by Carolyn Hennesy as Diane Miller, Judy Kain as Elaine Smith, and later Jeremy Brandt as Noah Reynolds before returning on November 5 replacing Kelly Monaco as Sam McCall after the character's death and Judy Kain as Elaine after her storyline ended. After he was last seen on November 8, he was later since replaced by Carolyn Hennesy as Diane Miller, Jens Austin Astrup as Kai Taylor, Jequan Jackson as Quinn Grant, and later Maurice Benard as Sonny Corinthos, Maura West as Ava Jerome, Bradford Anderson as Damian Spinelli, Parry Shen as Brad Cooper, Alexa Havins as Lulu Spencer, Jeff Kober as Cyrus Renault, Eileen Fogerty as Judge Lois Chann, William Dixon as Paul Ferner, Mercedes Lopez Renard as Colette Moreau, and Virginia Ma as Madison Yeung.

Storylines[]

On August 26, 2024; Lucky is in a Somalian refugee camp and tells a guard he is paid off by Sidwell to run missions for him over a month after Valentin Cassadine left town with his daughter Charlotte Cassadine and disappeared on July 17 since Sidwell does not have any children of his own.

On August 28, Lucky tells Dr. Isaiah that Sidwell has been sick.

On August 30, Lucky plays poker with Sidwell the same day that his friend/American overseas counterpart FBI agent John Cates was gunned down by Sonny Corinthos and hitwoman/Sidwell's new henchwoman Linda Boyle accidentally hit Isaiah Gannon with her car as she fought with Ava Jerome while driving.

On September 3; Cates and Sidwell's henchwoman/hitwoman Linda Boyle was arrested for kidnapping of Ava Jerome and hit-and-run was Linda was stopped by Jason Morgan and saving her life.

The next day; Lucky and Sidwell play poker again, insisting that Lucky (who'd rather play for his freedom) is playing for his life, threatening to kill him (or have him killed) if he loses. During their games (that Lucky keeps winning) Sidwell tells Lucky about a brief fling (?) that he had with Holly Sutton back in 2020 while she was being held captive at a casino in Monte Carlo, which is causing him insomnia replacing the imprisoned Winston Rudge.

On September 10, Sidwell shoots and kills a guard named Lou Evans who was stealing from him.

On September 11, the WSB learns that Sidwell left his compound, taking Lucky - and his compound at the camp was cleared out.

On September 19, it is revealed Lucky is being held prisoner at a mining camp.

On September 20, Sidwell and Holly Sutton meet Jason Morgan and Anna Devane at a Somalian Casino and invite them back to his camp which is a flight away.

Sidwell arranges a poker game that puts Jason, Lucky, and Holly's lives at stake if they lose. Jason throws the game to save Lucky. Thanks to Carly, Jack Brennan arranges a drone strike on the camp while Lucky and Holly fight with Sidwell. Holly helps the others escape and they fly home on a plane that Brennan provided.

On October 16, it is revealed Brennan's pilot was found killed and his plane was ransacked as Sidwell has plans to testify against Sonny after hearing news of Sonny to meet Noah Reynolds confess to Cates' murder to free Alexis Davis as Sidwell gains Reynolds as his new ally.

On October 22, Interpol contacts Anna to let her know that Jenz Sidwell was spotted in Miami.

On November 5; Sasha Corbin is kidnapped by Sidwell as leverage against her mother, Holly Sutton to get his prized diamonds back in revenge for the late the late John Cates, Sasha's former psychiatrist Dr. Damon Montague, and Valentin Cassadine. Holly finds her Metro Court Hotel suite ransacked and a knife left as a threat and she hands the diamonds over to Brennan in order to get Sasha back. Jason and Brennan go to make the exchange, where Jason hands over the diamonds to Sidwell. Sasha is locked away in an undisclosed room within the warehouse while charges are set to detonate. Sidwell and his gang leave and Jason finds Sasha just in time and they escape the warehouse right before it blows. Brennan, Jason and Sasha return to his office and Sasha is reunited with her parents. After the warehouse blew up, it made Sonny Corinthos furious offscreen afterwards. Then Sidwell ran off and fled Port Charles as a wanted fugitive, evading the authorities including the Port Charles Police Department making his way towards Valentin Cassadine and his daughter Charlotte since Sidwell didn't have any children of his own.
