Judge Horace Sanchez was a fictional character on General Hospital.
He was played by Nigel Gibbs in 2012 and 2017.
Gibbs returned to play Marcus Godfrey in 2018.
Storylines[]
On November 8-9, 2012; Judge Sanchez presided over a hearing for a petition that Trey filed to involuntarily commit his mother Connie to Shadybrook. Judge Sanchez ruled that Trey didn’t provide conclusive evidence that Connie is currently a danger to herself or to others and the petition is denied.
On March 17, 2017; Olivia Jerome is charged with in the death of Morgan Corinthos, kidnapping and assault of Griffin Munro and Robin Scorpio-Drake in revenge for Cesar Faison, assault and attempted murder of Anna Devane, multiple weapons charges including 315 counts of attempted murder (everyone present in General Hospital at the time she planted an explosive device), and framing Sonny Corinthos for her earlier crime. At the trial Griffin was asked to testify along with Robin and Sonny because they had been granted immunity. Judge Sanchez presided over the case to assess Olivia's fitness to stand trial. He decided she lacked the capacity to understand her actions or stand trial so she is remanded to D'Archam Asylum.
One week later after Olivia was sent to D'Archum Asylum, the armed robbery at the Floating Rib takes place involving revenge for Olivia by Chris and Paul Gentry.

In April 2017; unlike Olivia Jerome, Judge Sanchez ruled that Chris and Paul Gentry are fit to stand trial for armed robbery in revenge for Olivia Jerome as Horace found them guilty and sentenced them to life in prison without parole offscreen.
Five years later after Olivia was unfit and Chris and Paul Gentry were sentenced to prison and four years after the deaths of Nathan West and Cesar Faison, Olivia became fit to stand trial and sees Judge Sanchez and sentences her to life in prison without parole joining Chris and Paul Gentry before Olivia's death nearly seven years later in 2024 during prison transport.
