Ellen "Ellie" Trout is a fictional character on the ABC soap opera General Hospital.
She was portrayed by actress Emily Wilson from September 14, 2012 to January 4, 2016. Wilson returned for one episode on December 23, 2022 before being replaced back by Kathleen Gati as Liesl Obrecht who was later replaced by James Patrick Stuart as Valentin Cassadine and Scarlett Fernandez as Charlotte Cassadine before the characters left town and disappeared, Adam J. Harrington as John Cates before the character's death in 2024.
Storylines[]
On December 23, 2022 a year after the death of Jason Morgan on Cassadine Island and replaced by Johann Bauer in the beginning of 2022 , armed robbery at Charlie's Pub by Eric Watson and Harry DeFranco, and the attacks from the unnamed female serial killer who goes by The Hook; Ellie is in Portland with Spinelli and Georgie and they're still waiting for Maxie. Then they ended up at the airport in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada before The Hook was later revealed to be Heather Webber in the beginning of 2023.
