Judge David Walters is a fictional character on General Hospital.
He was played by Bennet Guillory in 2013 and 2014. William Allen Young played him in 2014, 2015, and 2019 before and after he was replaced by Carlease Burke as Natalie Rawles in 2016 and 2017. He is later since replaced by James Patrick Stuart as Valentin Cassadine and Scarlett Fernandez as Charlotte Cassadine before the characters left town and disappeared five years later on July 17, 2024 and later replaced by Carlo Rota as Jenz Sidwell over a month later on August 30 before the the character ran off and fled on November 8 before Scarlett Fernandez returned as Charlotte once more on December 23 the same day that Braedyn Bruner debuted as Emma Drake nearly a week after Carlo Rota returned as Sidwell on December 17.
Storylines[]
In late 2015; David appears once again and was promoted from family court judge to civil court judge and criminal court judge for the criminal case against former Port Charles resident Jerry Jacks with the charges of various crimes against the citizens of Port Charles and Maxie's cousin Robin Scorpio-Drake in which Sonny's attorney/maternal half-brother and former district attorney Ric Lansing become Robin's lawyer. The people of Port Charles testifies against Jerry including Robin and Sonny. The jury in the Port Charles courthouse in David's courtroom finds Jerry guilty and Judge Walters sentences him to life in prison at Pentonville Penitentiary with no possibility of parole.
On June 21; David returns as the judge in family court after he had been recently promoted to civil court judge and criminal court judge two years after his friend, colleague, and female counterpart Natalie Rawles took on the family court case of Charlotte Cassadine in which David was unable to handle in his absence and David handles the court case of Wiley after Georgie and Avery which Natalie returned the favor to David while he was absent. Walters holds Willow in contempt and has her taken into custody when she won’t turn over records of her baby to the court. He was later replaced by Valentin Cassadine afterwards.
David later advocates for people of all races and with him are his colleagues James Horowitz, Rachel Lasser, Richard Lowe, Henry Pierce, and Natalie Rawles.
