Corinthos mob family

The Corinthos (also known as Corinthos-Morgan and Morgan-Corinthos) mob family is a fictional mob and vigilante organization on the ABC soap opera General Hospital.

In Port Charles, there are five main mob families, with the Corinthos organization holding the most power in the city. Many law enforcement officials have come to Port Charles to try and shut this organization down and many enemies have tried to move in on their territory, but they always manage to fend off whoever is coming after them, whether it's the law or other enemies.

The Corinthos organization is also the city's main vigilante organization as they have been known to diffuse many dangerous crises and situations.

History[]

In April 2023; Sonny and his people are going to attempt to defeat Victor Cassadine and the worldwide terrorist organization the True Believers at their own game thinking that they're like Dawn of Day rising from the ashes like a phoenix after they already gotten rid of Nathan West, Julian Jerome, Jason Morgan, and Britt Westbourne respectively within five years while the DVX is currently inactive and defunct. The mob will join forces with the P.C.P.D., the WSB, the FBI, and Interpol since Sonny's nephew Spencer Cassadine and his brother Ace Cassadine are held hostage at the Haunted Star by Victor and his men and women after the death and memorial service of former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson and Linc Brown's arrest at the Nurses' Ball.

On November 16, it is revealed that Sonny's former step-granddaughter was attempting to shoot Sonny in revenge for her late grandmother Helena Cassadine and her father Valentin destroyed the footage.

As of August 16, 2024; Jason appears to be back in the organization and working for Sonny again. Sonny sends him to interrogate Clement Moore, the pharmacist responsible for switching his bi-polar medication for placebos on Ava Jerome's orders. When Jason approaches Clement, he says he works for Sonny Corinthos because Clement's enemy was none other than Co-Chief of Staff Dr. Portia Robinson.

On January 6-8, 2025; Michael Corinthos is severely burned after a bomb explodes in Sonny's penthouse, setting it ablaze. The penthouse is engulfed in flames and destroyed. Jason and Sonny rush to save Michael and he is taken to the hospital with third degree burns over 40% of his body. It's clear someone was trying to make a move against Sonny and Michael was caught in the crossfire. Sonny tells Jason that they have to find whoever did this and retaliate. Jason is all for retaliation but also emphasizes to Sonny that it's more important than ever to devise their exit strategy because he can't risk what happened to Michael, happening to Danny.
