Clement Moore, RPh or PharmD is a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.
He is portrayed by Philip Cass on May 10 and 14, 2024 replacing Chris Gann as Hamish Hampton after the character's death. He returned on July 10 nearly three months later; then on August 8, 15, and 16, 2024 before being since replaced by Brook Kerr as Portia Robinson, Parry Shen as Brad Cooper, Jeff Kober as Cyrus Renault, Adam J. Harrington as John Cates before his death the same day as Carlo Rota's debut as Jenz Sidwell before the character ran off and fled.
Backstory[]
On March 29, 2024 marking the one year anniversary of the memorial service of former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson; Valentin Cassadine revealed to Jack Brennan that he is having a pharmacist tamper with Sonny Corinthos' bi-polar meds to make them one fourth as effective because the pharmacist was wanting revenge for Damon Montague and Mason Gatlin after Brad Cooper dropped off the canvas a year ago after the death and memorial service of former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson.
Storylines[]
On May 10, 2024; Ava Jerome visits Clement Moore at GH. She claims to be Sonny's wife and asked questions about his bi-polar medication. Clement said Sonny had four refills left and a lower dosage could affect Sonny's behavior but Sonny's doctor should discuss these concerns.
On May 14, Clement calls Valentin and says the deal is off as Sonny's wife is onto them. Valentin says Clement is done when he says he is done. Clement tells Valentin that the wife came in to see him with many questions and she knows Sonny is not on his correct dose. Valentin tells Clement that he would already have been arrested if she turned him in so she hasn't. He asks Clement to describe the wife and the pharmacist says all he remembers is she is blonde and beautiful. Valentin tells Clement to keep giving Sonny the lower dose as he doesn't have a wife to report him. Valentin says he will take care of the "wife".
On July 10, Ava Jerome goes to see Clement at General Hospital. He threatens her that he knows she's not Sonny's wife. She counters that she can expose him for tampering with Sonny's medication, filling them at a quarter dose. When he swears he'll fill the full prescription going forward, she interrupts that she wants him to give Sonny a one hundred percent placebo, or she'll tell Sonny. Clement insists that is dangerous and risky. It's a risk she's willing to take, for Sonny to take placebos until she tells Clement otherwise. He agrees, and she demands that if anyone questions him, make up a story that she came for a consultation. She hopes she doesn't have to return without letting Portia Robinson knowing before Ava's talk with FBI agent John Cates the next day.
On August 8; Ava tells Agent Cates, who knows about the placebos, to find Clement as Sonny discovered he is taking placebos. Cates goes to visit Clement in his office the same day that his box Portia Robinson talked about other criminals the late Ryan Chamberlain, Heather Webber aka The Hook who came her for a follow-up at General Hospital since she is the only onscreen inmate at Pentonville Penitentiary, and the late Esme Prince.
On August 13, Cates tells Ava that he will lead Sonny to Clement and arrest Sonny to get justice for the late Epiphany Johnson. He needs Clement to survive so he can testify.
On August 15, Clement's last name is revealed to be Moore. It could be mean that Clement is the late Susan Moore's brother as well as Drew Cain and Jason Morgan's uncle.
On August 21, Jason tells Sonny that Clement was relocated to The Island two days after Brad Cooper came back to apply for an entry level night position in the lab at GH and a day after Cyrus Renault visited Lulu Spencer at Silver Water Aftercare.
