Charlotte Cassadine

Charlotte Honor Cassadine is a fictional character on General Hospital.

She is the half-sister of Rocco, and is the only granddaughter of signature supercouple Luke Spencer and Laura Webber, their most iconic nemesis the late Helena Cassadine, and Victor Cassadine.

Casting[]

Charlotte made her first appearance in a picture on September 21, 2016 the same day that Teddy Rivera was taken to Puerto Rico.

The casting of Scarlett Fernandez as Charlotte was announced in an issue of Soaps In Depth.

Fernandez made her first appearance on October 13, 2016 replacing Teddy Rivera as well as Shari Belafonte as Janice Lomax.

On March 17, 2021; it was revealed that Fernandez will return to GH as Charlotte. She returned for only one episode on March 24, 2021.

On May 26, 2021; Fernandez revealed she had surgery after breaking both arms and would be offscreen.

Ava Kolker now appears as a SORASed Charlotte where Charlotte attends Port Charles High School.

Storylines[]

In mid 2021, Charlotte now attends Port Charles High School and knows how to speak more German what she learned from her former great-aunt Liesl Obrecht after she realized that she nearly followed her deceased paternal grandmother Helena's footsteps before and after her father Valentin arranged a hostile takeover of ELQ and using it to benefit Charlotte and her future which would've made her grandmother Helena happy after Valentin hired Yuri Tamashevich as Head of Security at ELQ. She apologized to her uncle/cousin Nikolas after what she did to him and Ava a year ago.

Charlotte is determined to find out that her former step-grandfather Sonny Corinthos is still alive just like Nina already found out in Nixon Falls and unable to prove to Carly. Charlotte will have a chance to prove her father Valentin wrong about Sonny and is alive and well. Liesl hires Kirsi Mikkonen from Finland who can speak English and Finnish where Charlotte can know how to speak Finnish. Charlotte and Kirsi goes to Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania together.

After Sonny remembers, Charlotte was right and proved her father wrong. Sonny goes back to his home in Port Charles, while Charlotte and Kirsi goes to Sonny's home on Greystone Manor after she moved out of the Quartermaine Mansion. When she found out that her former great aunt Liesl was held captive; Charlotte became worried and concerned along with Sonny, Carly, Jason, Nina, Britt, and Kirsi.

On October 7, it is revealed that Victor Cassadine is her paternal grandfather.

In 2022, Charlotte doesn't seem to like The Hook one bit who reminds her of Cassandra as the gender of The Hook is female who is covering her tracks fearing that her paternal grandfather Victor will collude with her and Esme Prince since she is now estranged from her father as Charlotte works with Sonny.
