Charles "Charlie" Heineck was a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.

He was played by Vincent Duvall in 2015 before being replaced by Sebastian Roché as Jerry Jacks before the character's imprisonment and later escape, and Kimberly McCullough as Robin Scorpio-Drake before the character left town after the character's death.

Storylines[]

In August 2015, one of Sonny's trucks at his coffee warehouse is attacked by two men. One of the men is shot and killed and his partner Charlie Heineck gets away.

Charlie is caught trying to get a bus out of the city and sent to be questioned. He refuses to say anything without a lawyer but he was a known associate of Julian over a year ago before Julian severed all ties with him. Sonny suspects Julian is involved.

In September, Mayor Janice Lomax urged Ric Lansing to make a deal with Charlie in exchange for his testimony against Julian and Charlie was let go.

T.J. is kidnapped outside of Kelly's by two of Charlie's men who put a bag over T.J.'s head and drove him to a place where he was tied to a chair. T.J. was living with Sonny at the time so he was used as bait to draw out Sonny.

Sonny is told to arrive unarmed at a Van Ness warehouse on Pier 54. When Sonny arrives, Charlie realizes that Sonny is only nervous when Charlie holds his gun on T.J. Sonny overpowers Charlie and takes his gun before someone (later revealed to be Charlie’s boss Paul) shoots Sonny under the orders of Jerry Jacks to keep Sonny away from Robin Scorpio-Drake who was being held against her will with the help of Paul, Ava Jerome, Franco Baldwin, and Johnny Zacchara.

Drew Cain (as "Jake") and Sam are nearby and hear the noise. "Jake" tells Sam McCall to take cover and gets a gun from one of Charlie's men. Charlie holds T.J. at gunpoint but "Jake" ends up shooting and killing Charlie and the two men with him before Robin was rescued. He was later replaced by his boss and Paul's accomplice Jerry Jacks and his people Waltz, Tilda, and Manrico before Robin was rescued by Anna Devane, Robert Scorpio, Patrick Drake, and the Corinthos mob family.
