Storylines[]
Brad is a lab technician at the GH lab replacing Robin Scorpio-Drake who is being held against her will with the help of Brad's accomplices Cesar Faison, his boss Jerry Jacks, and Liesl Obrecht after the death of Jason Morgan. Dr. Britt Westbourne helps get him the promotion to lab manager in exchange for doctoring some fake lab tests to show that she is being affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The medical condition is used as a possible excuse to get Britt to live with her ex-boyfriend Dr. Patrick Drake, the supposed father of her unborn child. Brad is promoted to lab manager soon before Britt's sick leave, which gives Ellie Trout, another lab tech, some suspicions of a possible secretive alliance between Brad and Britt.
Brad has eyes for fellow GH employee and nurse Felix DuBois, who is disgusted by the thought, but attempts to use this to get information for Patrick and Patrick's girlfriend nurse Sabrina Santiago. He continues his warped sense of justice and attempts to make Michael Corinthos agree to have sex with him (even though Michael is clearly straight and was raped by a man named Carter in prison in 2009) in exchange for his "silence" about witnessing Michael kissing his cousin Kiki Jerome. On September 4, Brad tells Felix that he really likes him. They almost kiss but Patrick interrupts and punches Brad for helping Britt lie about the baby. Brad is the father of Britt's son (via sperm donation). Brad stop Dante at the hospital to tell him something about Britt's baby. After the baby is born Brad goes to look at the baby but doesn't approach Britt or the baby.In 2016, Brad revealed that he and Rosalie figured out a way to divorce without having to testify against each other. He was in civil court in a lawsuit against Mayor Janice Lomax who violated everybody's constitutional rights as he testified for the lawsuit along with his former co-worker former Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson testifying on Morgan Corinthos' behalf as Brad chose the American Civil Liberties Union.
In July 2018, Brad and Nelle switched her son with Michael and his deceased adoptive son with Dr. Lucas shortly after Nelle's son's birth after Nelle replaced Heather Webber after her imprisonment. Brad told Julian Jerome about the switch except he said a homeless woman (not Nelle) gave him her baby. Julian didn't find out the truth for over a year. When he did, Julian tried to force Brad to confess.
When Julian sabotaged Brad's car, Lucas got into an accident. He was arguing with Brad who confessed everything about the switch right before they crashed. Lucas was in a coma for several months. Once he woke up, he couldn't remember Brad's confessions for a few weeks. Lucas told Michael the truth once he remembered. Nelle claimed the idea for the switch was Brad’s and Sonny threatened Brad if he didn’t confess to everything.
On March 12, 2020; Brad went to prison and Lucas filed for divorce. He was later replaced by Britt's ex-cousin-in-law Valentin Cassadine.
After Cyrus Renault who bores an uncanny resemblance to Britt's late father Cesar Faison had been released from prison with a full exoneration, Brad becomes Paul Hornsby's new cellmate.
On November 18, Brad came back after he was attacked under the orders of Cyrus Renault after he became the Chairman of the Board at General Hospital after eight months and a week in prison three months prior to Jason and Sam being separated by Cyrus for seven months.
On May 3-4, Brad became traumatized when Trent Beech and Carl Pine were tried to kill his best friend Britt Westbourne with a fatal injection and the shooting at the parking garage at General Hospital under Cyrus Renault's orders. Then Britt's mother Liesl Obrecht secretly threatened Cyrus behind his back who reminded her of the late Cesar Faison after the death of Franco Baldwin.
On June 4, Cyrus was arrested for holding Portia Robinson and her daughter Trina hostage in their home as Brad can have peace.
On June 16, Brad was happy that Cyrus was sent to an out-of-state federal prison in the Midwest meaning that Brad will be safe before having a parole officer since he has his parole is coming up. Britt makes plans for Brad to be out by the Nurses' Ball in the fall because his former co-worker and head nurse Mary Wells isn't sure what she would do after Brad gets parole, but the Nurses' Ball didn't happen.
On December 10, a mysterious inmate in Pentonville gave Peter August some breakfast through a slide but Peter initially didn't want it. The mystery inmate then put it back on the breakfast cart, but Peter changed his mind and wanted him to bring it back, so he did. After Peter ate his breakfast, he went to leave but started coughing, choking and wheezing. It was revealed that the mysterious inmate was Brad after Jason Morgan's presumed death on Cassadine Island via tunnel collapse during shootout with the late Nelle Benson's male counterpart Peter August and a day after Raquelle Fraser's arrest, Brad will try to later assume the name Jason Morgan.
On December 15, Brad was released on parole and is with his aunt Selina Wu and later his parole officer Steven Scott.
On April 18, Brad was questioned by the PCPD and his parole officer about the armed robbery at the Charlie's Pub to think that Brad was violating his parole. He denied any involvement of complicity of armed robbery and was eliminated as a suspect after Jason was replaced by Victor's henchman Johann Bauer since their names start with the letter J and armed robbers Eric Watson and Harry DeFranco wanting revenge for the late Peter August.
On March 29, Brad heard the news that his former co-worker Epiphany Johnson has died and was devastated. He later attends Epiphany's memorial service with his parole officer before being since replaced back by Valentin Cassadine.
Brad resurfaces a year and five months later on August 19, 2024 at General Hospital after being replaced by Valentin Cassadine and his daughter Charlotte one month after they left town and disappeared on July 17, Valentin's late father Victor Cassadine and his will reading, Mason Gatlin before his imprisonment, Dr. Damon Montague before his arrest, Cyrus Renault before dropping off the canvas four months earlier on April 18 and replaced by Jack Brennan who is now the Head of the WSB Port Charles Field Office, and Clement Moore who had been tampering with Sonny's medication under Valentin's orders while Brad was missing in action. He approaches co-chief of staff Dr. Terry Randolph because he wants to apply for an entry level night position in the lab. After some back and forth concerning Brad's many misdeeds, he is able to convince her that he wants to make amends and make a fresh start. Eventually, Terry agrees to put in a good word for him for the late Britt's sake after Valentin and his daughter Charlotte's disappearance after Liesl Obrecht broke up with Scott Baldwin.
